Party Down is the type of show that can keep creative people from killing themselves. Some people find writing to be a freeing thing, I find it to be a struggle, and I find that I lose that struggle more than I win.

The show is on Starz, but I caught it on Netflix streaming. After every hard fought battle, this show really puts the funny spin on my failures and reminds me not to give up--even though the main character is a failure who has given up.
Plus it's directed by Mutha Effin' Fred "Going-to-get-Whinnie-Cooper-if-it-kills-him-and-Columbo-reads-him-The-Princess-Bride-when-he's-sick-first-kid-to-play-Mario-3" Savage!
